Strawberry Festival and Garage Sale - June 9 We'll get by with a little help from our friends. Help is still needed to make next weekend's Strawberry Festival a success. If you can sit and slice strawberries on Friday beginning at 10 a.m. OR can volunteer for two hours between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday we need YOU!! Please fill out the volunteer sheet located in the bulletin and place it in the offering plate or call Sandy Robison at 763-8236 or Gene Bozart at 774-4901.
Bake Sale Donations Needed - June 9
Bake Sale Donations Needed - We need lots of goodies to sell at the bake sale which is held along with our Strawberry Festival and Garage Sale on Saturday, June 9th. Please drop off your donations in the large conference room on Friday, the 8th before noon, or Friday evening between 6 and 7 PM. Make sure everything is labeled, please, so we know what we're selling. Thanks!! Wanted: Homemade goodies. Donations of baked goods to be sold at the Strawberry Festival may be dropped off in the large conference room on Friday, June 8th before noon OR Friday evening between 6 and 7 p.m. Please mark all baked goods so we know what we're selling.

Make sure your calendar is marked for Saturday June 9th. The Garage sale begins bright and early at 7:00 AM. Food will be available along with strawberries and shortcake. A bake sale and carnival games will also be held. All activities will conclude by 1:00 PM. Donated items may NOW be brought to the stage in the social hall for the garage sale. If you are available to help the day of the festival, please call Sandy Robison at 763-8236 or Gene Bozart at 774-4901.
The Gathering - March 28
The Gathering will meet on March 28th instead of the 21st.
AARP Driver Safety Course - February 13 & 14
AARP Driver Safety Course will be offered on February 13 & 14, 2007 from 8:30 AM until 12:30 PM each day. The course will be held in the Youth Room on the lower floor. Sign up sheets are located on the bulletin board nearest to the office and also in the office. State law requires all auto insurance companies provide a multi-year discount to program graduates over the age of 55. No test-minimal fee $10.
Fellowship and Arts Bus Trip - November 18 Saturday November 18th - New York City Bus Trip. The bus will leave the church promptly at 7:00 AM and return by 11:00 PM. This is a "Do-Your-Own-Thing" Day. The cost of the trip is only $30.00. Call Debbie Hoover at 774-7282 or pick up a registration form on the bulletin board by the parking lot entrance. Bring a lawn chair and come for the fun. As always friends and neighbors are very welcome to join us in the activities.
Grace Golf Tournament
Back by popular demand... The Annual Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church Golf Tournament Sponsored by The Evangelism and Fellowship & Arts Committees VALLEY GREEN GOLF COURSE, Etters SUNDAY, AUGUST 6th ***Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. ***Shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. Picnic buffet will follow at 6:00 p.m. Menu: Hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and grilled chicken sandwiches Baked beans & potato salad Pretzels & chips, Cookies, lemonade and iced tea Cash bar $55.00 fee includes: Greens fees, golf cart, free range golf balls, non-alcoholic beverages on the course, gift bag and dinner $10.00 fee for guests joining the golfers for dinner only The event will be a four-person scramble. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. Individual prizes will be awarded for the closest to the pin and the longest drive. Bring your friends and neighbors–the event is open to all, not just members of Grace. Register by filling out the form below. Registrations were due July 16th. |
