For Life Team - June 23 Youth members of Grace have formed a Relay for Life Team called Amazing Grace, to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society. They will walk for 24 hours beginning Noon on June 23rd, in honor and memory of all those who have been affected by cancer. The team will participate in several fundraising activities to benefit cancer research. There are several gift baskets available for raffle in the church library on May 6th. Please consider sponsoring the team by purchasing raffle tickets. Overnight Sleepover - March 2
On Friday, March 2nd there will be a 3rd through 5th grade youth sleepover at Grace. There will be games, spiritual enrichment, and well watch a movie. Snacks will be provided on Friday and breakfast provided on Saturday morning. The fun starts at 6:30 PM on Friday and lasts through 11:00 AM Saturday. Bring your sleeping bags and pillows and we hope to see you there! Look for and sign-up on the sheet on the youth bulletin board. Dinner - Friday, February 16
It is time again for our Family Spaghetti Dinner on Friday, February 16th. There will be two seatings: 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Cost is $7.50 / person. Children under 5 eat free. You may purchase your tickets during the Sunday School hour and during the week at the office. The proceeds will support the youth. There is a helper sheet on the youth bulletin board for youth and adults alike that can help serve, clean up, provide entertainment and provide baked goods. Please come out and support our our youth. Bowl Sunday - February 4
We need soups and bread. Monetary contributions are also accepted. Please stay after the 11:00 service on February 4th for homemade soup and bread. The youth will be collecting monetary contributions.

Please look for the ficus tree in the narthex and select a tag. Purchase the item listed and return it, with the tag to the base of the tree by February 4th. Items will be boxed and mailed to our 50+ college students. Thank You for your support.

the Smart Choice - January 21 / 28
The Capital Area Pregnancy Centers Inc, will facilitate an abstinence program for youth and parents at 7:00 PM here at Grace. The Following week, January 28th at 7:00 PM the program will be geared towards youth, specifically 7th and 8th graders, but other youth are welcome to attend. See information and sign up on the youth bulletin board. Confirmands will receive a learning credit.

all Youth - Help with Youth Service on January 21
Calling all youth - If you are in 6th through 12th grades and would like to help with the youth service at 11:00 AM on January 21, please sign up on the youth bulletin board in the hall. We will need readers, ushers, and others to help with the service. This will count as a service credit for confirmands.

Snow Tubing Event - January 14 Cancelled due to lack of Snow.
Ski Roundtop Snow Tubing Event, Sunday January 14. All 6th - 12th graders are invited to meet at the church at 4:45 PM. We will be snow tubing from 6-8 PM We will arrive back at the church between 8:45 & 9:00 PM The cost is $17.00 per person. Sign ups and further details on the youth bulletin board.

Fundraiser - January 15
Pack 54 Fundraiser - Tired of cooking after the holidays? Why not have a night out and help support Pack 54 at the same time? Simply take one of the Hoss's cards located in the Neal Library to the Mechanicsburg Hoss's (61 Gettysburg Pike) on January 15th and present it when paying your bill. $20% of the bill will go to the pack. Winter Youth Retreat (Grades 3 - 9) January 5 - 7 Youth in grades three through nine are invited to a winter retreat to be held by the Lutheran Camping Corporation at Camp Kirchenwald. The cost is $100.00 per person. The deadline to register is December 15th, but this is a popular event, so early registration is advised!. Wanted donations of Christmas print material ( preferably small print). The youth group at Grace will be making Christmas bags to sell for the Peanut/cashew Nut Fry. Bob Ton Shoppers - November 11 Attention Bob Ton Shoppers! Grace Lutheran Youth Group is selling Bob Ton Community Day Coupon Books to benefit youth group ministries. Each Book contains a $10.00 coupon and eight coupons good for an additional 20% off merchandise. The Event will be held at all Bon Ton stores on Saturday, November 11th. You can purchase one of the coupon books for $5.00 at the Giant/Weis grocery Card table. The entire $5.00 purchase will benefit youth group ministries. - Registration due October 20 All 9th - 12th graders are invited to register now for winterfest (January 5-7 2007). This year's theme is "It's not all about me - Called to serve". Once again we will be at the Lancaster Host resort with 800 Lutheran Youth and adult leaders. See the bulletin board for registration forms and sign-up! Walk - October 22 Crop Walk on October 22, 2006. Meet at 1:00 PM on City Island. All you need to do is sign up on the Youth Bulletin Board, get a sponsor form (and sponsors), and walk. Cub pack 54 is conducting their yearly fundraiser. They will accept orders for and sell popcorn between the services on October 1 and 8th. Grace has been the Charter organization for Pack 54 since 1948. Thank you for your continued support

Quarter and Lock-in - September 29-30 Following the home football game at Cedar Cliff on September 29, we will have a coffee house in the social hall. You may stay for the coffee house until 11:00 PM, or say for the lock-in. People are welcome to come for the coffee house at 9:00 PM. Antonio Revisited - Cruzando - September 24 Come and share our experience. The youth who attended the national Youth Gathering this past summer will lead the 11:00 AM worship service on September 24. There will be special music, reflections from the youth, and much joy. Enjoy salsa and chips, a slide show of the event, and mementos from San Antonio in the library. Alive
Alive - Deadline September 15 - 17
Alive, Alive, an event for upcoming 6th - 8th graders, will be held September 15th - 17th at Camp Nawakwa. The cost is $85.00. Registration deadline was August 13th. Please see Youth Bulletin Board for more details.
