This past month… It was an awesome time at the lock-in for the 3rd through 5th graders. Indoor soccer, broom stick hockey, movie—who knew you could have such fun staying all night at church? I want to thank the older youth and adults who helped make the event such a success. Children’s church was well-attended, and a lot fun. We had a great time praising God and singing songs. “I like to eat apples and bananas.” Thanks again to the youth who helped with crowd control. A big thanks also to our guest speaker Kevin Kramer who led a fun-filled and education evening with the youth. Now we know all about the “Golden Rule.” Thanks also to our confirmands who have done a faithful job of leading the Sabbath Services during this season of Lent. Did you know??? Luther said, “These three are the three qualifications which mark a good preacher: First, that they stand straight when in the pulpit; secondly, that they speak up and say something worthwhile; thirdly, that they know when to stop.”
