This past month… Thanks to all our youth and adults who helped with the car wash on June 2nd for the Relay for Life Team, “Amazing Grace.” You worked hard and raised a lot of money in support of the American Cancer Society. Well done, good and faithful servants. We also want to thank all the youth and adults who helped out with the Strawberry Festival on June 9th. Your time and energy is very much appreciated. On June 3rd, we recognized and celebrated with all our high school and college graduates. Congratulations and good luck in all your future endeavors. At the time of the writing of this article Confirmation Camp and Vacation Bible School had not yet happened. Upcoming in summer… July 5-8—Youth Beach Trip to Wildwood, NJ Keep us in your prayers while we hold our retreat at the beach. July 16-20—Fine Arts Camp Please join us for Arts Camp each evening from 6-8 PM July 22—Fine Arts Camp Presentation at the 10:00am service August 18th—Alive Alive Sign Up Deadline Alive Alive will be on September 21-23. This year’s theme is “Live Love.” Details, registration form, and sign up can be found on the youth bulletin board. You may also visit our synod’s website for information www.lss-elca.org August 26th—West Shore Youth Kick-Off Event, 3:00pm-6:00pm We will be gathering with other youth from our conference of churches at Kentland for an afternoon of fun, food, service, and worship. Feel free to bring a friend.
